Kildysart hit back with two impressive goals and they also fired over some good points as they pulled away for victory. A very understrength Miltown outfit put a good move together and it ended with Paul Keane finding the Kildysart net. On the resumption the winners quickly added three unanswered points. Their lead could have been greater but Sean O’Brien had saved a Kildysart penalty. The home side dominated throughout and were in a strong position at half time when the score was 2-7 to 0-2. Two goals from Keith Murphy and one each from Seamus Casey and Diarmuid O’Donnell steered Kildysart to an easy win over St.
